About

Hopefully I can create a interesting blogosphere around here, and that is my objective. I guess my focus have shifted and I will only continue updating you with my photography. Hopefully you will enjoy this as much as I do.

I am of course interested in photography but I am no major league alas, other than that I will try to contribute with my learnings while I’m improving both my photo skills.

      1. I traveled there on business, for a week or two at a time, and stayed in hotels. In Stavanger, I think it was the hotel now called the Radisson Blu Royal. I was right across the street from a lake and park, in which was the famous old cathedral. And I would walk through an open-air fish market to the buildings along the harbor. In Bergen, all I remember was it was a brand-new high-rise hotel in the center of the city. I would also sometimes helicopter out and spend a night on one of the platforms on the Statfjord Field. At the time, I was writing for Mobil Oil.

    1. I checked out your latest post, it seems like a real nice place 🙂 Nice photos as well. Bergen is a very nice place to visit, so I am not suprised she enjoyed it. Of course there is so many places which are nice, so it is hard competition for Bergen to get more tourists.

      1. Thank you for your lovely comment. I think that in many areas nice places can be found, it is seeking them out and seeing them through fresh eyes. The surrounding area of where I photographed would not necessarily be seen as anything special apart from the Historic Dockyard and Rochester nearby but there are hidden gems. I am surprised by what you say, does Bergen not get enough tourists?

  4. Thanks so much for following my blog. I have started to look through yours and love what you do. I find it easier to do close shots and am only just stepping out into the big world with my camera. I really enjoyed your forest shots and the sheep. The hill there looks very like the Dartmoor Tors which surround me. You have encouraged me to take my camera out with me more- thanks for that!
    Karen.

Presently, we are 5 weeks into it but it would be easy for you to post 5 photos to catch up. We would love for you to join in on the fun.

    1. I will see what I can do, I usually not very good at finding themes, I usually go for the nature/landscape theme, but I will try and see if I can follow your weekly program.
